Lessons:
$20.00 / lesson (Lesson length varies between 1 hour and 1.5 hours)
Boarding:
$250.000 / month
(includes: hay, feed, water, turnout w or w/o other horses and & extras that can be discussed )
Training / Riding:
$300.00 + board / month
Could work out a price for charge per ride also if interested.
Types of Training
Starting your horse (a month's riding)
(With a month's riding the goal that is usually achieved is for your horse to walk, jog, lope, back up, roll back, and be able to be taken out of round pen and be ridden around the yard. We have a unique and easy going way of breaking a horse using natural horsemanship with our own twist that we find works well. The horse lets us know what is too much so the horse is never pushed too hard in our hands, ever. But keep in mind this is a guideline and every horse is different.)
Training your horse (a month's riding)
(Do you want to get your horse over some people issues, or is your horse being a tad pushy? Maybe you just want your horse to get more broke and experienced. (Giving to the bit, moving off your leg, slowing down, lead changes, neck reining, roll backs, turn on haunches/forehand) Ground work that is essential for the horse to understand is preformed atleast a few times on each horse we train. It teaches the horse how to move away from pressure, switch gaits, whoa, trust and respect. Extra things like if you wanted your horse to learn a barrel pattern or get him so he isn't afraid of tarps/trucks or tractors/or just get him over being spooky. Different horses with different problems take different amounts of time to come along. Therefore the price may vary for each horse.
Young Horses Ground Work
Halter Breaking, Leading, Tie to fence, pick up feet. Ground work such as switching eyes, lunging, trust, join up and knowing its gaits along the rail in the round pen by voice command.(Special discount possible for just ground work)
Troubled Horses Rehabilitaion
I am open to take in a few troubled horses in 2010 or through winter 2009. If your horse has been in an accident, has trust issues, needs a refresher, scared of the horse trailer, spooky of tarps/bags/noises etc. If your horse is scared of people. Getting a nervous horse to trust. There are many things that I might be able to help you with. Due to time issues the horse will be the deciding factor on how long it takes. Every horse is different and its up to the horse when it decided to get over things. (* will not take any troubled horses with out examining them first* - which is a visit to see it, video etc) Also, If we don't think we can offer you help with your horse, we won't take the horse.
